Local level event

Explanation of Event levels

Local events are usually low key and in the 'localised' area, ideal for newcomers to try the sport. Training are non competitive events used for training and coaching, aimed at members of the club, but they can attract people from neighbouring clubs, and are often ideal for newcomers to try the sport. Regional events attract participants from around the local Region, National events are high quality competitions that will attract people from far away, Major events are Major Events such as a British Championships.

Directions / Parking

Parking will be at the Top Car Park, on the west side of Suffield Lane. There is a 1.9m height restriction barrier.

Map / Terrain

An area of typical Surrey heathland with a mix of largely deciduous woodland and open areas of heather and grassland. The terrain is undulating with some steep slopes. There is bracken in many parts of the common, however this is starting to flatten and can be crossed with ease in most instances.

Some seasonal intermittent paths are not mapped.

Entry Details

Online only at Racesignup entries. You can enter up until 11:45am on the day of the event (subject to the availability of pre-printed maps for each course).

Senior entry £8 (non-BOF £10); juniors and students £3.50. SI card hire £1

Pre-entries can be amended online until Thursday 6 October. After that please contact the Organiser for amendments.

Start times : 10:30 to 12:00

Entry is online only, including on the day of the event.

No toilets will be provided.
