Explanation of Event levels

Local events are usually low key and in the 'localised' area, ideal for newcomers to try the sport. Training are non competitive events used for training and coaching, aimed at members of the club, but they can attract people from neighbouring clubs, and are often ideal for newcomers to try the sport. Regional events attract participants from around the local Region, National events are high quality competitions that will attract people from far away, Major events are Major Events such as a British Championships.

The Parking will be under the WWF living planet centre (Brewery Road Car Park)

Entry Details

Members of MV and GO are free, others are £3 each

Please RSVP latest Wednesday 22nd November to marionpaynebird(AT)gmail.com saying beginner/improver so we can gauge how many maps to print.

Please bring your lunch and a drink. Remember to wear full leg and arm covering in case of brambles. Bring a compass.

Please check whether you have one of our club compasses, sadly all our spare club compasses have been disappearing so currently we don’t have many to lend out.
