Explanation of Event levels
Local events are usually low key and in the 'localised' area, ideal for newcomers to try the sport. Training are non competitive events used for training and coaching, aimed at members of the club, but they can attract people from neighbouring clubs, and are often ideal for newcomers to try the sport. Regional events attract participants from around the local Region, National events are high quality competitions that will attract people from far away, Major events are Major Events such as a British Championships.

Overview
This is the first training event this term, the same weekend as our WOW “Farley Frolic” which you can enter here. We’re really hoping that you can manage both!
The activities will be aimed at beginner and inexperienced improver orienteers. As usual there will be at least two courses for beginners plus an activity based on "keeping in contact with the map" for the more experienced, a key skill for success!

This is part of our series of GOMole training events. They are relaxed, friendly events perfect for newcomers, including families and those looking to improve their orienteering skills. They are free to members of Mole Valley and Guildford orienteering clubs and £4 for non-members.
