Map / Terrain

1:10000 / 1:7500 with 5m contours updated 2025 by Tom Edelsten

Last used for an open event in 2019, this National Nature Reserve has been described as “amongst the finest remaining examples of lowland heath in the world”. The competition terrain, south of the M3, provides extensive undulating open and semi-open sandy heathland, mainly runnable with some rougher sections, a significant path network, marshy areas and smaller parts of runnable forest offering a variety of challenges for all classes.
