PLANNER'S COMMENTS

We were certainly fortunate with the glorious weather. Is there any better sport on a day like that?

Thank you for the many positive comments that I received. The winning times appear about right, though I noticed that many of the graphs, rather than being a gentle even slope downwards, tended to zig-zag around quite a lot. From a planner's point of view, I don't know whether this represents success .... or failure!

It was pointed out that the Finish should have a control description attached to it, which in retrospect seems a fair comment. In future, I will plan a control within 10 -15 metres of the Finish, in case of a failure of both finish SI boxes.

For myself, I watched the sun rise above the Forest, and I watched it set. "Sad and Lonely" some may say - seemed pretty cool to me.

Thanks for coming.
