I was not at the event on the day until about midday so did not know about the car park travails until they were well sorted out. Having driven in and out of the field several times on the Wednesday before the event, poked and prodded the ground with a fork I then sent an email to those concerned saying I thought it was pretty bombproof. I won't live that down in a hurry. If you were affected early on in the day then apologies.

I was curious to know how many actually read the entry instructions. The registration team assured me they had no trouble but I did see a note pinned to the tent repeating them !! It is quite a palaver when you are using Sport Ident although it can be very quick.. We ask for things such as 'phone numbers because it helps recover hired dibbers or sort out those who have forgotten to download.

I wonder how you found the SEOA experiment which allowed you to mark up your maps outside race time ? Some told us it is a nonsense but others appreciated it very much. Heavens know what conclusions will be drawn from the day.
