Last updated: Wed 19 Jan 2022

Guildford Orienteers (GO) welcomes new members of all ages, junior and adult, from complete beginners to experienced orienteers. The club is affiliated to British Orienteering, the sport’s national governing body and belongs to the South East Orienteering Association (SEOA).

You get the most benefit from joining GO with British Orienteering, including affiliation to SEOA. But you can also join GO without British Orienteering & affiliation to SEOA, or as your 2nd club if you’re already registered with British Orienteering as a member of another club.

Existing members should receive an email inviting you to renew. If you have a direct debit setup, your renewal will be automatic and your payment taken in December.

Membership is on a calendar year basis. If you join as a new member on or after 1 November 2021 your membership will be valid up to the end of 2022.

As an alternative to individual membership, GO now offers family membership covering up to 2 Seniors and all Juniors at the same address - this may be a cheaper option for you, but check below as it’s likely to be more expensive for a 1 Senior family – if so then register as individuals. Note that British Orienteering fees are on an individual basis only without a family option.

When joining or renewing please check and update the details carefully as GO relies on the information you provided to British Orienteering and it’s also used by some online entry systems:
