Safety and Risk: A comprehensive risk assessment will have been carried out by the organiser, but participants take part at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety during the event.

Privacy: when participating in our events/activities your name may appear in the results section of this website or in newspaper reports. Read our Privacy Policy to see how we look after your personal data.

Medical conditions: Competitors take part at their own risk. If you have an existing Medical Condition of which the Organisers should be aware, please complete a Medical Form which can be downloaded from the British Orienteering website and hand in at Enquiries in a sealed envelope marked with your name and "Confidential Medical Form for GO event <date>only". This will be opened only if you require medical treatment and are not conscious. It will be destroyed at the end of the event.
