World Orienteering Day event 2018

Come and try Orienteering with Guildford Orienteers on World Orienteering Day


Do you like getting outdoors as a family? Do you like nature and having an adventure? If so, then why not try orienteering. To find out more, get outdoors and come along to our event on 23rd May! No experience needed, just come along.

Date: Wednesday 23rd May 2018 (starts from 6pm)

Where: St Martha’s Hill

Parking: St Martha’s Hill Car Park, Halfpenny Lane, Chilworth, GU4 8PZ

Registration: 6pm to 7:15pm, last start 7:30pm

Entry fees: £5 or £3 for juniors and students

There will 4 courses available: short and easy (1.7 km); slightly longer and easy (2.4 km); two longer and more technical runs, light green standards, (2.8 & 3.2 km). Guildford orienteering club members will be available to provide assistance and guidance. No need to bring any equipment. If you intend bringing a group, please can you contact us, so we can ensure there will be sufficient maps.
