27 Oct ’19 – Chobham Challenge

Guildford Orienteers present the Chobham Challenge (Level C)
at Chobham Common, Surrey on Sunday 27 October 2019

Last used for an open event 5 years ago, this National Nature Reserve close to junction 3 of the M3 is an area of undulating sandy heathland and has been described as “one of the finest remaining examples of lowland heath in the country”. The terrain provides a large area of open and semi-open heathland, mainly runnable with some rougher sections, significant path network and smaller parts of runnable forest, offering a variety of challenges for all classes.

Following the fire earlier this year we’ve thoroughly updated the map and will be (provisionally) offering the following colour-coded courses: Brown / Blue / Green / Light Green / Short Green / Orange / Yellow.

Entries online will be available soon via Fabian4
EOD will be available subject to map availability.

Start times provisionally from 10:30 to 12:30
Parking at Roundabout Car Park, Chobham Road, Chobham, Surrey
